Office Clerk

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused individual who can answer telephone calls in a courteous manner with the ability to complete front office tasks and interact with customers and suppliers.  This position will involve dealing with customers and suppliers on a day to day basis as well as employees from all departments within the company. 

Essential Functions

  • Answers and directs calls
  • Greets visitors and customers
  • Prepares and sends order acknowledgements to customers
  • Compiles, sorts, files, and scans documents substantiating business transactions
  • Daily time entry into the ERP system for all jobs
  • Create and maintain price lists for established components in the ERP system
  • Manage and execute the procurement of component inventory and miscellaneous items
  • Create packings lists for customer shipments
  • Assists with processing payments and sends mail

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as computers and printers
  • Proficiency in Google sheets, Excel, Google Docs, Gmail
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent (Required)

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment
  • May be required to sit for extended periods of time
  • Will be required to work with other employees frequently
  • The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
