Position Summary

The Accountant is a full time position reporting to the Accounting & HR Group Leader on daylight shift which is typically from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with overtime available through extended hours or work on Saturdays.

Essential Functions

  • Performs duties in support of an accounting function

  • Prepare journal entries, invoices, and checks

  • Manages account statements, reports, and other records

  • Compiles, sorts, and files documents substantiating business transactions

  • Verifies and posts details of business transactions

  • Reconciles accounts to eliminate discrepancies

  • Answers all vendor and customer inquiries

  • Complete month end closings by the second business day of the month

  • Manages Accruals

  • Prepares analysis of accounts as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Highly proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and colleagues

  • Understands and is able to apply accounting principles

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

  • Ability to type accurately and proficiently at a high rate of speed

  • Outstanding customer service skills to include complex resolution abilities

  • Ability to gather data to compile information, and prepare documents

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university

  • At least six months of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrated history of being able to close financial results monthly

Work Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • All work is done onsite at our headquarters in Leechburg PA

  • Guidance, training, and support provided by our parent company in Pittsburgh as well as onsite staff in Leechburg

The Experienced CNC Machinist is a full time position reporting to the CNC Group Leader on daylight shift which is typically from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with overtime options available through extended hours or work on Saturdays.

  • Operation and programming of horizontal and vertical CNC mills and lathes

  • Follow technical instructions and interpret blueprints

  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production

  • Follow company procedures and directives

  • Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerance of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.   

  • Maintain the tools used to create products

  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace

  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials

  • Production of metallic and non-metallic parts

  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed and depth and angle of cut

Additional Duties

  • As assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Proficient in Blueprint Reading

  • Proficient with GD&T 

  • Proficient with MasterCam Programming Software

  • Proficient with Haas and Mazak CNC Machines

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

  • Ability to diagnose issues and problem solve when necessary

  • Ability to concentrate on intricate detailed work for long periods of time

  • Knowledge of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Journeyman Machinist or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Good candidates should have some prior vocational/ technical training and skills.

  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Work Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Work is generally performed in a climate controlled environment

  • May be required to be in one place for extended periods of time

  • Will be required to work with other employees frequently

  • May be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
