Position Summary

Essential Functions

• Manage and execute all purchasing activities for raw materials, hardware, tooling, shop supplies, and external services to support manufacturing requirements.

• Reconcile purchase orders with receiving documentation and supplier invoices to resolve discrepancies.

Essential Functions

• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies, using proper equipment and techniques, including advanced inspection methods
• Ensure incoming raw materials are in compliance with Purchase Order specifications
• Identify and report nonconforming materials and parts

• Must possess a working knowledge of basic and intermediate math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
• Proficient in interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a field of study with emphasis in Engineering, Manufacturing or Metrology, accompanied by a minimum of 2 to 4 years proven inspection or manufacturing experience in a relevant environment 
• Alternatively, a candidate with their Machinist Journeyman’s papers, accompanied by a minimum of 2 to 4 years relevant manufacturing experience
• Previous work experience for this position can include dimensional part inspection as a Production operator and does not have to be tied directly to dedicated QA support
